I came across a service being promoted as a wholesale email marketing platform where you can earn money mass emailing subscriber offers. Now, for those who don’t know about affiliate marketing, it’s well known that the “money is in the list“, but something is wrong with this service.

I even took the time to create a long YouTube video talking about what I found when searching this company and to be honest, it’s disgusting. Everything this company is going is spam and against the CAN-SPAM Act. And they are getting real people, who are in need of extra income to do the spamming for them. Gross!

Cliqly Email Marketing System

The service is called Cliqly and it bills itself as the world’s first wholesale email platform. A subscriber of our YouTube channel asked me to take a look to see if it was a legitimate way to make money online. So, I dug in and took a look.

And wow, it only took me about 5 minutes to realize this is a massive SPAM service mass emailing millions of email addresses spammy emails. And they pay people, just normal people, $0.10 per click on every link in the emails. The problem is you have to pay money to keep emailing after you use up your free credits during the trial. Yes, you have to PAY money to email people you don’t know spam emails in order to get them to click on the offers.

Anyone who has worked online or done anything to create extra income online knows that you never can just start emailing a bunch of people offers. Email marketing takes a lot of time to build a qualified list (you know, people who want to hear from you), then you nurture the list by emailing people great tips and information around your niche. Then, and only then, can you start sending affiliate offers or products to your subscribers to get them to bite. This takes a lot of time.

Cliqly basically is telling you that you can bypass all of that and send offers to their massive 14+ million email subscriber list. Here is the strange part about this service.

You don’t know where the email subscribers come from
You don’t know how long they have been on this list
You don’t know how many times per day they get emailed
You can’t control the emails being sent
You don’t control the offers
You make very little money when people click the links

So how do people really make money with Cliqly? Well, it’s easy…

Cliqly Affiliate Program – Where the Money is Made

While someone can make a little bit of money sending out spam emails to subscribers they don’t know, the real money is when you promote the system to others and they sign up through your link. This is referral or affiliate marketing. Nothing wrong with affiliate marketing, but I have issues when you promote a system like this which adds massive spam into our inboxes.

If you are an affiliate, you can promote Cliqly and get people to sign up for free. They can send thousands of emails for free, but they can’t cash out their earnings until they reach $300. The issue is you can’t send enough emails to get to that amount without paying for more credits.

One email sent to one subscriber is one credit. It costs you $97 to pay for 100,000 credits. Once you pay for this, your referrer who you signed up through gets 100% of that commission.

If you need to buy more credits after they run out, it’s another $97 (though sometimes they are on sale). Your referrer then gets 5% every time you pay for more credits. See how this system works?
